TC’s Annual Christmas Fundraiser for Becky & Steve
Christmas is now less than 3 months away, and that means it’s time to start raising money for Steve and Becky’s favorite charities! Becky has aligned herself with The Smile Train, while Steve supports Africa Renwal Ministries.

The money we raise will be presented to Steve and Becky as their Christmas gift from The Canvas. It’s been another hard economic year, and charities are especially hurting for donations so our support is so incredibly important once again this holiday season.
Accounts have been established at both TST and ARM under Becky and Steve’s names, respectively, and we are asking that if you make a donation, you donate the same amount of money to each charity so we can raise equal funds for both. IE – if you decide you want to donate $50, please donate $25 to The Smile Train and $25 to Africa Renewal. In doing so, we’ll ensure that we raise the same amount of money for each charity.
1. Call 877-543-7645 ex. 277 and ask to speak to Michele Sinesky. Michele is our contact at The Smile Train, and is familiar with our efforts. Let her know you want to make a donation to The Becky Herbst 2010 Christmas Fund.
2. Use the online donation form and select ‘In Honor Of.’
When it asks for ‘Honoree Title,’ choose ‘No title necessary.’
Enter ‘The Becky Herbst’ as the ‘First Name’ and ’2010 Christmas Fund’ as the ‘Last Name.’
In the space asking for ‘What Is The Occassion’ select ‘Special Event.’
When asked to ‘Please Select One Of The Following,’ please go with ‘Please Do Not Send A Card.’
You can skip the ‘Optional Gift Notification’ section.

2. Fill out the online donation form and then select ‘Wherever Needed Most.’ Make your donation and then immediately send an email to armusa@africarenewal.org with ‘The Steve Burton 2010 Christmas Fund: Rukungiri Project (account #17105)’ in the subject line. In the body of the email, explain that you just made a donation via the ARM website (and that you selected the ‘Wherever Needed Most’ option) and you want to make sure the funds are directed into the The Steve Burton 2010 Christmas Fund: Rukungiri Project (account #17105). Please note: You must use Internet Explorer if you wish to make a donation online, as that is the only web browser currently supported by Africa Renewal at this time.

After you have made your donation (or have mailed your donation) please be sure to email Brooke at oc_brooke99@yahoo.com with your first and last name, as well as your donation amount. It’s very important you email Brooke after you make your donation, so that she can keep track of how much money we’ve raised. Please do not PM Brooke with your donation amount – She needs to be able to keep accurate records of your donations, and that’s nearly impossible with PMs. Email, email, EMAIL!
And that’s not all! For every $10 donation you make, your name will be entered in a drawing to win a special little something. Here are the two raffle prizes available.
Please note that “The Canvas” does not appear on either actual photo; it is only there for purposes of posting on the internet.
Each photo is 8×10 and has been hand signed by both Becky and Steve. The first photo was taken in March of 2008 in a hallway at the GH studio, and the second photo was taken after the SALE in 2009.
Two people will win the raffle prizes this year, and since there are two items, there are two ways to win! The first winner will be the person that donates the most money by the December 15th deadline. That person will get to choose which photo they want. The other photo will be awarded to whoever’s name is drawn in the “Every $10 donated earns you one ticket into the drawing” raffle.
The deadline to make a donation is December 15th, which means we’ve got two and a half to raise as much money as we can. Donate as often as you’d like! The more money we raise, the better!
