Our couple has been through a lot together in those 11 years and our love for them is still as strong today as it was 11 years ago when it began. What began as a friendship turned into so much more and has given us many wonderful memories. Our couple has 11 years of friendship, trust, love and a child together. Thanks Steve & Becky for making Jason & Elizabeth one of the most loved couples on daytime.
So keep the faith Liasonites. Lets remember to stay loud and very vocal and keep reminding ABC why Jason & Elizabeth are the best couple, why they should be together and why we will never ever give up. General Hospital campaign, well I have added a whole section which describes what SOS is about, listing all the press releases sent out, postcards being used for the campaign and links to the various media coverage the SOS campaign has received to date.

July will be the month of Top Ten Remedies for GH and we’ll have new postcards available that focus on the show as a whole, not just the couples and they’ll be available on the board and on the SOS/Save Our Soap facebook page. The SOS campaign is making lots of noise and has been endorsed by Daytime Confidential’s Jamey Giddens. We have also been mentioned on About.com, We Love Soaps and in SOD’s campaign trail. I will be posting the new SOS postcard below. There are several ways you can help.
First you can click on the postcard below to a bigger image and save it to your computer, then you can attach it in an email. We suggest emailing CEO of Disney Robert Iger, President of Disney/ABC Anne Sweeney and ABC Daytime President Brian Frons.
Second way of helping is by using a free postcard mailing website found at www.hippopost.com/ or if your on facebook use the Facebook Hippopost Application. You can mail 3 postcards a day for FREE. All addresses and emails are listed in the sidebar to the right under “Support Liason”.
The “I’m Sick of My Soap!” Day on May 1, 2009 was a great success. Between the 3 ABC soaps they lost over 1,000,000 viewers that day. The people spoke but did we speak loud enough to make a difference?
Just to be sure our voices are being heard join with us for Round 2 of “I’m Sick of My Soap!” Days on May 18, 19 & 20, 2009 and boycott all ABC soaps (both on ABC and SoapNet) for the last three days of May Sweeps.
NO WATCHING + NO TAPING + NO DVRing = NO RATINGS and NO VIEWERS.
Show ABC Daytime the power of the viewer by turning off the soaps and hitting ABC where they’ll feel it the most: in their wallets!
Support ALL your fellow ABC Daytime Viewers by boycotting ABC Daytime on May 18, 19 & 20, 2009, including that evening’s SoapNet airings. Then, during your favorite ABC Soap(s) call the comment line and tell them why you’re choosing to tune out:
